Education system under Modi Government:


The aim of the Indian government is to provide an education system to every citizen with an equal chance of going to the best colleges. The government is trying to create a conducive atmosphere for higher education by setting up new institutions, taking over the running of old ones, providing incentives to those who invest in infrastructure, creating new opportunities for academic development and aiding the development of research and innovation.

'Skill India'

The government has set up skill development and entrepreneurship centers across the country, particularly in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

At these centers, people can attend workshops and courses for acquiring the skills required for earning a decent livelihood.

Real estate

The Real Estate Regulation Act (RERA) came into effect on 1 May 2017. It is aimed to protect homebuyers and is also meant to bring transparency in the sector.

Diesel vehicles

India is the world's third-largest producer and consumer of diesel but the new government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been encouraging the use of electric vehicles, by which the country can save up to USD 25 billion by 2030. The government has also said that by 2030, it would reduce the import of crude oil by 10% to 20%.

Rolling back of coal ban

The government has decided to restore the coal mining and coal-based power generation licenses. This can bring black money back into the system.

Allocation for highways

The government has allotted Rs 22,000 crore for road construction, the highest in three years. The allocation is 11% more than that in the previous year.

As much as Rs 10,000 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of expressways under the PM Awas Yojana.

Construction of Srinagar-Jammu road

An initiative for construction of a road from Srinagar to Jammu through Jawahar Tunnel has been taken up.

Cashless transactions

The government's Digital India campaign aims to make India a cashless economy. For this purpose, digital transactions up to Rs 50,000 per year have been made mandatory for the purchase of petrol and diesel.

Laptop distribution

Rs 1,000 crore have been allocated in the budget for providing laptops to the rural students of government-run colleges.

Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Smriti Yojana

The scheme, launched in 2014 by the National Democratic Alliance, is aimed at providing financial support to the unemployed youth in the rural areas. The scheme provides for a total amount of Rs 3,600 crore, which was increased by Rs 1,000 crore this year.

Help to farmers

As per the budget announcement, the government has announced the total expenditure on the support price of paddy will be raised from Rs 15,050 to Rs 16,000. This is to help the farmers whose paddy crop yield was affected due to untimely rain in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Cashless transactions

The government has made cashless transactions mandatory to avail various schemes for rural housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the farmer welfare schemes and the scheme for smart cards for irrigation purpose.

Telecom and phone bills

The telecom industry has been making requests for the reduction of the mobile service taxes levied by the government. The government has finally decided to reduce the mobile service tax from 20.7% to 18%.

Debt waiver for farmers

The farmers will be provided a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh for setting up farms and for working capital.

Cashless transactions

All retail transactions will now be through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The government will spend Rs 5,000 crore on UPI in 2017-18.

National Waterways Act

The National Waterways Act (NWAA) 2016 was passed by the Lok Sabha last month. The Act is aimed at giving thrust to development of national waterways by making the National Waterways Act 2016 as a law for smooth operation and development of all the national waterways.

Maryada Purushottam

The government has also announced a one-time pension scheme for defence veterans. The scheme will cost Rs 1,700 crore to the exchequer in 2017-18.

Village infrastructure

The government has decided to spend Rs 7,311 crore on rural infrastructure, including drinking water, sewerage, streetlights, road constructions, schools, colleges and health centres.

Cashless India

The government of India wants to make India cashless, everyone uses the online transaction not the cash payment . For that they met up with cred to run their scheme in a full flow 
These are the schemes taken by our honorable prime minister Mr Narendra Modi for the development of India. He thought that only education can change things very quickly so he used to give a lot of importance to the education system and give their best for the development of the education system. The development in the system of education will be very fine and it gives the job oriented education not only for the knowledge ,it will be job oriented or one should be able to do their own business.
